You are able to see a simple inconvenience of not having a bed as a literary masterpiece. Very well written.

Excellent post... The apple doesn't appear to have fallen far from the tree, very much a chip off the old block!

Though I would say Mridu may be very different, in terms of needing solitude. I enjoy solitude myself, and find it indispensable to have some time to myself every day. Extroverts gain that charge from being around people and may not really 'get' this need for solitude, though they may understand it intellectually.

I find that reading let's me retreat into my head regardless of how many people may be around me; and I can be completely alone and comfortable in a crowd. You may also find it useful if you want a recharge and can't find a space, not an unusual situation in India's busy cities and small homes, though possibly not so much in Dubai or Kuwait.

In any case, writing is a skill, and like all skills, it can only be honed through practice. Excellent work, and I'm sure you'll only get better with life experience and years of sharing it with fellow lovers of the written word... Best wishes!

I stay in my room a lot too. So when guests are there, I can relate to the feeling I've been kicked out of my home, it's honestly amusing, how it feels that my rightful place has been snatched away. And as much as I agree with this article, I would prefer not to go back to the nomadic times, and feel like I've been demoted...you write very well, I think we'd relate a lot....if you're comfortable with it, I would like to get in touch

Wow this was such a well crafted story. I think the best read this year.

Perfectly written without jumbling and jumping to the next lines. Really neat, clean and clear.

It was so vivid and emotional. Really drew me in from the beginning to end.

Good job Swasthi 😊👍👍
